Cohort Studios

Cohort Studios currently have just over 40 employees based in Dundee. Currently concentrating on the PlayStation 3 platform, they are working on a major unannounced title for one of the biggest publishers along with some smaller titles with the same publisher on the PlayStation Network platform.

Realtime Worlds

Realtime Worlds, founded in 2002, is a software technology company specialising in the entertainment sector.

We are based in Dundee, Scotland, with an exceptionally talented staff of 200, and a new Colorado, USA office. Our talented team have a tremendous history of creating some of the world’s best selling video games, including the 2007 double-BAFTA winning hit “Crackdown”, and the global hit franchises “Lemmings” and “Grand Theft Auto”.

4J Studios

Formed in 2005, 4J Studios is a games development studio based in Dundee, that develops for all popular games consoles.

Currently in production are: Banjo Kazooie/Banjo Tooie (XBLA) and an innovative original IP project for the Wii/DS. Previous titles include The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3), Overlord: Raising Hell (PS3), and Star Trek: Conquest (Wii).

Outerlight

Outerlight is committed to producing ground breaking computer games, primarily for the PC platform and Xbox360.

Game play is at the company’s heart and our raison d’etre is to produce original and exciting games which define new genres rather than being defined by them.

Ruffian Games

Ruffian Games is a game development studio based in Dundee.

Formed in 2009, the incorporation brings together a wealth of industry experience and talent that all share a passion to create hit titles for leading worldwide publishers.

Among other major franchises, Ruffian staff have previously worked on games such as Crackdown, Fable 2, Project Gotham Racing, Grand Theft Auto, Mortal Kombat and has close ties to many other gaming legends.

Ruffian Games is lead through unwavering belief in games as the pinnacle of modern creativity and entertainment.

Codeplay

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Codeplay research and develop advanced compiler technology and software development tools to overcome the challenges faced when writing software for advanced processor architectures.

Dynamo Games

Dynamo Games is a specialist mobile games developer dedicated to bringing the best quality games to the mobile platform. Dynamo Games pushes mobile technology to the limits by bringing a new level of depth, excitement and attention to detail into mobile games for conversions of existing console & PC titles and also new game concepts.
